There is a hidden appeal in eating raw meat/seafood. Usually if a restaurant menu has one of these items, there is a solid guarantee I will order it. That being said, the two crudos on our menu at Pacific Hideaway are of course two of my favorite dishes on the dinner menu.
Tuna crudo with eggplant vinaigrette, broken red pepper vinaigrette, and crispy shallots
Amberjack crudo with quick pickled vegetables, avocado puree, aji amarillo vinaigrette, and herb oil
To be honest, I never liked this dessert until I made one myself. Something about milk soaked cake never really appealed to me – but now its one of my personal favorites.
